Until now, tuition sponsorship has focused largely on commercial practice. We collaborate with independent practices and aggregators to expand independent practice opportunities for the next generation of optometrists.
Need for Change
Building on a partnership between Noodle and NECO to make optometry education more affordable, we’re now taking the next step to establish the Independent Practice Pathway (IPP).
The IPP offers more than financial support, breaking barriers for optometry students, strengthening the talent pipeline for independent practices, and positioning NECO as a leader in private practice optometry.
Through a network of optometry schools and independent employers, the IPP strengthens career opportunities for students and supports a more sustainable, community-rooted optometric workforce
